Maria Island sits off the East Coast of Tasmania and has a rich history. The Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service wanted to encourage visitors to take a pledge to keep the place ‘Wild and Pristine’ ie, don’t touch the wombats and leave no rubbish behind.
